About me

Have you found yourself at a crossroad? Perhaps you have been feeling as though your life is no longer progressing? The sense of being stuck in life can bring about a deep sense of anxiety and depression; not to mention physical illnesses. You may not even know how to see the cause of the stress leading you away from the happiness and peace you deserve. My strength lies in helping you find your true purpose in life while safely exploring your gifts. My task is to help you uncover a new sense of balance. And while the path ahead may be full of ups and downs, I firmly believe that your journey towards wholeness only begins when you embrace the healer within.
I specialize in integrative mind-body psychotherapy, hypnosis, mindfulness meditation, somatic psychology, and qigong for adults of all ages struggling with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, anger, and psychospiritual/existential crisis. My approach is grounded in respect and inspires the desire for change; it is based on my study of mind-body medicine, integrative mental health, and wellness. I facilitate deep exploration, healing, and transformation while teaching gentle yet powerful grounding techniques in a casual, relaxed atmosphere where you are honored and respected for simply being you. And if you're lucky, I may even challenge some of your long-held beliefs about yourself!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Paul White. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

It has been a year since I begun therapy with Dr White. What a great journey it has been. He taught me how to write Haikus so that I could talk about painful moments in a not so painful way.

This is a Haiku I composed to mark a year since I began therapy.

It's been a year now
Since I began this tough hike
A symbolic one

Anchor beside me
On him, an awesome backpack
Great tools it contains

When unbearable
Anchor lets me dip in it
Always grounding me

I'm deeply attached
But he is so cool with it
Just for a season

When I learn to fly
He will be so proud of me
Thank you my Anchor

Dr. White is an exceptional listener who immediately made me feel comfortable advancing in therapy at my own pace. His suggestions for handling my depression and anxiety have helped me to work some pretty important stuff out that was peripheral to those issues, and I'm very grateful for his support over our time together. I'd recommend him without reservation to people who want to take control of their mental illness, rather than allowing it to run roughshod over them.
