About Me

Hello. My name is Peggy, and I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (in the State of Florida) since 2012, providing therapeutic services in various community settings addressing problems in managing Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, challenges with parenting, trauma, and in dealing with life stressors.

I have been trained in an array of therapeutic interventions. On this platform, I will utilize evidenced-based therapy interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), to help identify problem symptoms/behaviors, and develop a treatment plan to improve your ability to manage your mental health and progress with your intrapersonal goals.

I am person-centered, and genuinely would like to assist anyone that has the will to want to learn and try to manage his/her self-care. I do understand it is not easy to feel comfortable to share personal information, however it is my duty to handle it with respect, protect your privacy, increase safety, and provide guidance and support to the best of my therapeutic proficiency.

I look forward to working with you.

I was able to hit the ground running with Peggy, which speaks to her knowledge and expertise. She is in tune with my needs. She’s responsive, professional and empathetic, all of which has enabled me to be open and honest during our sessions. I’m very pleased with the progress I’ve made in the short time I’ve worked with Peggy and I look forward to continue our work to a better and healthier version of myself.
