About Me

I have enjoyed the dynamic client/counselor relationship for 25 years. I realize the courage it takes to get started and to share your story. A healthy life is full of change and growth and uncertainty. Most of us want certainty, wanting to hold onto beliefs even when they don’t serve us. Change is difficult and it is an inevitable part of life. The times when we are challenged the most often prove to be our greatest opportunities for growth. We usually don’t choose our hardships, though we can participate in our healing and use them as a catalyst for change. I look forward to working with you.

I am a licensed therapist in Oregon. My experience and training has been varied. The approaches that I have explored in depth are client-centered, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, solution focused and somatic psychology. I have incorporated mindfulness into my personal life through yoga and meditation. I began these practices in my 20’s to help balance the stress in my life at the time. The benefits have been immense. There are many ways to slow down and see beauty. It begins with a feeling.
