About me

Welcome to BetterHelp counseling, a meaningful step in the direction of recovering your birthright of peace and happiness. It is a delight and joy to be with you on your path - the path of the courageous to the warrior! Be it shorter stroll or longer journey, I look forward to discovering what it brings you in the here-and-now and what directions you would like to go.

I have over 19 years of varied counseling history. I have experience working with a wide range of people and their problem. They range from autistic spectrum disorder, normal human development (to include relationship formation and maintenance - not to mention heart break and recovery), chronic and acute pain problems, sexual dysfunction (eg inability to engage in enjoyable sex) and sexual addiction, mood problems, PTSD, and the far reaching effects that these have on others. I have both inpatient hospital, outpatient clinical experience, and the skill set to bridge the two. I have worked in hospice, private hospitals, private clinics, military installations, chiropractic offices, and private practice.

I have a considerable and well-developed tool box to help you in short-term situations. I also have considerable skill in systemic unconscious problems (AKA karma problems), family systems, and life-time problems. These may even be trans-generational. I enjoy helping people convert life hardships into life lessons and blessings. It may be difficult to imagine. However, like Maya Angelou said, "A person is a product of their dreams. So be sure to dream great dreams. And then try to live your dreams." I look forward to both hearing the dream, perhaps ending the nightmare to experience a clearer dream, and to walking with you till your dreams become your reality.

Dr Ludwig has helped me through a stretch of really bad times throughout the last 4 years. I thank him that I’m still alive.

Dr. Ludwig had a very profound impact on my life. With his help, I am on a life long path of understanding towards being, with a solid skill set to handle the challenges of life. No one else has ever helped me understand 'me' more than he has. It feels like a true gift every session having the opportunity to talk with him and learn from his wisdom.

Dr. Ludwig has changed my existence. During the darkest time of my life and facing multiple challenges at once, his counseling and guidance has allowed me to find myself through it all and be thankful for the challenges I faced, as they shook me back to life and put me back in touch with my truer self.
Rather than trying to analyze my difficulties and find solutions to them via cookie cutter methods, Dr. Ludwig helped me find my stronger, deeply intuitive self and empowered me to find my own solutions, and also learn to let go of the need to be in control of every outcome. He also helped me be present in my body, which has been a true blessing in managing my anxiety. More importantly, his approach and support has brought joy and presence back into my life, which in my opinion is the ultimate road to being happy.

He is one quirky cookie of a counselor, and a true gift to the world.
Thank you Doc!

Dr. Ludwig is a phenomenal counselor who is really doing a great job of helping me on my road to recovery for sexual addiction. I know I still have a lot more to go but I am optimistic for the future.
