About me

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step and you have taken a huge one by exploring therapy. My expertise is in challenges arising from anxiety, depression, motivation issues, low self-esteem, and career difficulties. I worked as a therapist at an inpatient psychiatric hospital and at a counseling clinic where I provided services to client of all ages and varied backgrounds. I have experience working with a wide range of mental health disorders.

Perhaps you've been drowning in overwhelming stress, and the challenges you face seem completely unsolvable. Maybe you feel like you are barely treading above waters. Life can sometimes throw us in a loop and make us feel stuck and lost, despite our best efforts.

Now that you are here, know that you don't need to make this journey alone. I see therapy as a place where we can untangle these stuck points together as a team.

In therapy, we will work as a unique team towards healing. Healing comes from a mixture of courage, action, and change. I find that often times we already hold a lot of strengths and answers in ourselves, and it is through therapy where we can discover how to utilize what we have to heal. Therapy can be a personal and vulnerable process, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach, which means I want to help figure out what works for you and not treat you as just another client. I want to help you explore and make sense of the difficult things that you might feel stuck in. I strive to be someone who won't shy away from having conversations that might be hard but are necessary for growth. My goal is to help you reduce suffering, and increase happiness, fulfillment and belonging.

On a personal note, I am married and a mother of a little boy, as well as lots of furry animals and chickens as well. On my spare time I enjoy gardening and pulling weeds. I also love trying different foods and reading books!

Please message me if you have any questions or concerns before selecting me as your therapist. Don't hesitate to set up an appointment to get a feel of what it might be like to work together!
