Portia is, without a doubt, the most talented therapist I’ve worked with. She calls me out when needed, let’s me know when I’m making progress, helps me keep focus, and is generally very supportive, knowledgeable, and has a wonderful therapeutic presence that cannot be learned or imitated.

Meeting Portia has been a game-changer for me. I've worked with several therapists over the years with varying degrees of success, but in Portia I've found someone who I feel is the perfect match for me. She is patient, kind, understanding, and insightful, while gently pushing me to break out of the patterns I've been stuck in for so long. She creates a safe, non-judgmental space for our sessions where I feel comfortable sharing with her, knowing that she will respect me and my journey as we work together in therapy.

Been working with Portia for 3 months now and she has helped me tremendously! Being a healthcare provider during this pandemic has brought on different struggles. Portia has helped ease the anxiety and stress associated with it and has provided me with some great coping skills and tools to utilize. She is very easy to talk to, listens well and more importantly is very personable. I would highly recommend her.

Our 2 sessions have been very helpful.

I've only had 3 sessions with Portia Hopkins, and already, I am experiencing changes and taking actions I have been unable to take for the past 2 years. She is a compassionate listener who shows thoughtfulness and presence and gives implementable, & targeted advice as well as exercises, which are at times difficult to do, but you know are necessary to change. She is also extremely responsive via text, which makes this process all the more doable since you feel your support system will be there if you are having a difficult time. I highly recommend Portia if you are looking for someone practical, professional, and caring.

She understood where I was coming from and I felt heard, not judged, and as though I were talking to a friend with clear insight, wisdom and encouragement. Thanks, a very good start and helpful session
