About Me

Hello and Welcome!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys working with each of my clients to provide compassionate and collaborative counseling services. My primary theoretical orientations include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy; however, I recognize that each of my clients is unique, so I tailor counseling needs to each individual. In addition, should my client desire faith-based counseling, I do incorporate Christian principles.

I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University and my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Howard University. With over thirteen years of experience, I have had the privilege of providing therapeutic services in schools, private practices, hospitals, a residential substance abuse treatment facility, a college, and an outpatient mental health clinic to clients of all ages and backgrounds.

I will approach therapy as a partnership with you as my client. Therefore, I operate from the belief that by working together through challenges, you can overcome hurts, obstacles, and struggles and not only merely survive but rather thrive in life. I am so proud of you for taking the first step to seek support, and I welcome the opportunity to walk with you through your journey to wellness!

Quinnise is by far the best therapist that I’ve had the opportunity of working with! I always feel great after each session, with a newfound perspective and hope of the improvements and progress I want to make in therapy and in my life. She’s kind, friendly, patient, encouraging and a great listener. She’s unlike any other person I’ve worked with because her strategies for working through things aren’t a temporary fix but rather are things that can be implemented throughout your daily life in an impactful way that helps you feel better about yourself and discovering the good qualities of your inner self that have been there all along.
