About me

I’ve worked with hundreds of people to help them recover from traumatic experiences, improve their personal relationships and build healthy habits to transform their lives for the better.

I've worked with a variety of clients with a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, identity issues, and more. I don't have a specialty, but I especially enjoy working with young adults working to overcome their difficult past experiences while building a new life for themselves. Regardless of your age or experience, therapy can help you discover your true self and empower you to create lasting change in your life.

I’m trained in a variety of person-centered therapy models -- I most enjoy using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My mindfulness-based approach is built on my commitment to building strong therapeutic relationships with my clients while providing a safe space for self-exploration to promote healing and growth.

My passion for mental health stems from my personal experience with it, as well as my love of learning about and understanding people and the complex systems within which they live. I have personally overcome some mental health challenges over the course of my lifetime, so I understand how overwhelming and frustrating it can be to feel like you're in a battle with yourself and your environment. The process for getting help can be overwhelming, and it can feel so frustrating and lonely. However, I also know from experience how much life can change for the better when you find support and take steps towards taking care of yourself!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Nathan Osborn. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I've only been using this service for about maybe a week and a half now. But Nathan Osborn has been a great counselor. Not just as he listened and give a little feedback, but he also gives recommendations on some things that I could practice on. Also gives me some worksheets to try and fill out, so that he can know more about me and try to understand a few more things that I'm going through. I appreciate that he listens and even tries to go back to something that he heard that he wanted to maybe open up more. I look forward to further counseling with him. And I really appreciate that he's available as much as I would like somebody to be.

He is very understanding and has a way of wording that will make you think for a minute. Highly recommend!
