About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with 10 years of experience working as a therapist and counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career and life challenges. I also work with many people who have experienced physical, emotional, sexual and racial trauma or abuse.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I am aware of societal privileges and oppression and I am an advocate for BIPOC and LGBTQIA individuals. My approach combines mind and body practices such as meditation, nutrition, dance, art, etc., cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, wellness coaching and client-centered therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. The options are endless.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Rachel is probably the kindest person I have met. She gives great advice and helps you set goals and truly accept yourself and be your best self. If you can choose I will 100% go with her

Rachel is honest and challenges my own personal weakness and inhibits the ability for growth. She is kind and considerate, a great listener. She helps me to understand my goals and needs for personal reflection and prioritizing my needs. She embraces and understands who I am as well as my identity. She doesn’t make therapy overwhelming, she makes it attainable and valuable. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs support and self reflection.
