Hi! My name is Rachel. I live in Colorado, where I have been a licensed counselor and art therapist for the past fifteen years.
I see people from all walks of life, with different backgrounds and experiences. Individuals are so unique, and every person has their own story to tell. Each person reminds me a colorful and vibrant square in a patchwork quilt. The thread that holds the quilt together is everyone's desire. The desire to feel happy, alive, and good about who they are and what they offer the world. It isn't a lot to ask, but it often feels that way. There is just so much that life throws at us, it is hard to keep up.
Has life felt hard for you? It can feel like a roller coaster of emotions, or maybe events from the past seem to follow you around. Maybe you've had a tremendous loss, or you find yourself in living in uncertainty, unsure when you will ever feel solid ground again. You've lost sight of who you are, or dreams may have been shattered. Maybe it is this slow, gnawing feeling that just aren't living to your potential.
Bravely showing up for your life and all of its experiences is difficult work. This is not easy stuff. I get it, I've been there. I know change isn't easy. But, with the right guidance, accountability, and a willingness to try new things, YOU CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS. You can learn how to feel alive, brave, and happy. It is possible.
My unique approach combines the following:
Cognitive-behavioral techniques (working with your thoughts and behaviors)
E.M.D.R. (a modality for trauma, but mostly used here for resource building)
Expressive arts (to access your wisdom within, through journaling and art making)
Mindfulness practices (to experience states of calm, to understand nature of thoughts and gain clarity)
Many people have described me as warm, always honest, and at times playful.
I'll push you when necessary, to help you embrace new patterns that serve your highest self.
Change can happen. I've seen it. I've done it.
Don't waste anymore precious time. Get started now.
I look forward to helping you create a life you love.

I have really appreciated my time working with Rachel. She is a very thoughtful and supportive counselor. She always responds to my messages, validates my experiences, and offers strategies or other points of view when my own thinking is stuck or narrowed by my experience. She has made a positive impact in my relationship with therapy, and with myself!
Rachel has helped me so much already and just knowing I can talk to her on my schedule is so helpful for me. She’s just the right amount of supportive.
Rachel is empathetic and kind. She is also able to push me as needed and is always encouraging. She does great work!
Rachel is wonderful to work with through anything and a very pleasant and professional.
She's da bomb dot com
Rachael is always caring and supportive and helps when my stress is so terrible I feel I can't take it anymore. She helps me breathe through it and always encourages me to not give up and focus on what I can control.
Rachel is compassionate, available and a good listener. She gives me multiple tools when I face tough situations.
Rachel was very helpful and added perspective that I probably wouldn't have considered had I not been assigned to her. Her responses were calm, non-judgmental and reassuring which was very appreciative because I felt like my messages to her were unorganized and borderline manic. I would recommend her even though we only had sessions for a short time due to my not being able to continue them.
I haven't been able to speak with Rachel long, but in the moments we have shared she has been nothing but a positive light.
Rachel helped me through some challenging life transitions and helped me reframe the way I've been thinking about some of life's big questions. I appreciate all the useful tools she shared with me, as well as her kindness and compassion.
Rachel has been the best counselor I have ever had!!!
Rachel has been wonderful to work with. She has been and continues to be a wonderful, supportive counselor as I navigate life's transition.
Since I started working with Rachel, I've been able to unravel some deep-seated issues that I never before was able to get to (nor was I willing to!). But with Rachel's caring and thoughtful approaches I have made major steps in dealing with some past trauma.
I really appreciate the time my therapist takes to listen, offering helpful advice and tools. She is very compassionate and caring. I feel heard and if I need to get a lot out she listens and sums up all that I feeling with kindness and has a very genuine, real approach. I value her as my therapist.
Rachel is a wonderful counselor--highly recommend! I've made a number of self-discoveries and positive changes with her insight and guidance over the last four months.
Rachel has been super awesome! She’s my first therapist ever - I always kinda assumed the worst sorta stereotypical thing you’d see in movies - But she is everything but! She listens very well, is very wise and has been great at adapting to a variety of tasks! (I’m not the typical Patient) Super appreciate her feedback, and general open-mindedness. She’s very easy to talk to! Rachel, You da bomb!
Rachel is amazing. I feel lucky to have worked with her in the time that I did. I would highly recommend working with her.
I haven’t been working with Rachel for too long yet, but so far she is a great listener. She also offers up great suggestions or knows how to relate to things going on in my life. She is caring and quick to respond with thoughtful answers to my journals or messages. This is the first counselor that I felt immediately connected to.
I’m only a couple sessions in, but already look forward to speaking with Rachel. She is calm and very attentive. She makes great observations while challenging and supporting me.
I was hesitant at first of online therapy. Will it be the same? Will I connect with my therapist? Will I get as much out of it as I would at an in person session? Well, after just one session, Rachel exceeded my expectations. I have never been more excited about therapy before and what is to come in the future. I feel like Rachel as so much knowledge and so much to teach me. She offers great insight into problem solving but never oversteps or pushes me. I truly feel like she gets me and gets what I am looking to get out of therapy. I look forward to our sessions each week and for what work we can continue to do together.
So far Rachel has been super responsive and great at listening to my concerns. She is also helping me come up with solutions to help my problems.
In just a few sessions, Rachel has significantly boosted my hope for my future. Her responses to both my verbal and written communications are clearly worded and helpful. She exudes warmth. By the end of my first session, I had a feeling as though I was speaking to an old friend. She is so skilled at what she does. I'm grateful I found her.
Rachel, is amazing. I’ve been doing a lot better mentally, since she had been helping me. I am definitely in a better space because of her.

From day one, I only got loving and compassionate vibes from her, and she's continue's to help me on my self - discovery journey. I always look forward to our chat's. As someone who is self-motivated, Rachel works with me as I am going through this process. Her recommendations and exercises are helping to strengthen my coping skills.
Rachel is a wonderful counselor. I don't know if words can do any good, but she really helps me. Helps to gain control over my emotions. Helps by just being there for me. Listening and supporting.
Rachel is great. Fast Response. Great ideas and just a nice person.
Rachel is always very thoughtful in all of her responses and I feel very supported in the therapeutic relationship. She is really helping me to grow and understand myself with compassion. Her expertise shines through in all of our interactions, for instance when she asks thoughtful questions, when she gives me new strategies to enhance my mental health, and when she encourages me along my path. I truly appreciate Rachel’s work.
