About me

I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist committed to helping individuals find meaning and joy in their day to day lives and relationships. I have 7 years of experience working with individuals and families in the mental health field. It’s been my passion and privilege to be a part of each client’s journey to overcome their challenges and build the life they want to live.

My practice focuses on identifying goals and solutions to target the obstacles that keep you from finding contentment and peace. I believe all people have the capacity to heal and grow when provided a compassionate, non-judgemental, and honest space for healing and self-discovery.

I’ve had the pleasure to work with a wide variety of clients and issues, including individuals struggling with depression and anxiety, or simply feeling unsatisfied in their lives and relationships. My work with couples has focused on enhancing connection between partners while providing practical tools to address conflict and disagreements.

I’ve worked with adolescents and families to address issues such as self harm and emotional regulation, along with family conflict. I view the family and problems that arise as simply unsuccessful attempts to solve a problem. I can help families understand themselves more completely and provide opportunities for all family members to grow together.

It is my goal to provide that space and facilitate the healing and self-discovery process through a variety of therapy models including but not limited to Cognitive & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Experiential Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy.

Before becoming a therapist I worked in early childhood education and as an advocate for survivors of domestic violence. I was born and raised in Oklahoma, and spent about a decade living in Seattle, Washington, where I met and married my husband.
