I am a therapist and licensed clinical social worker. I specialize in working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, depression, anxiety/panic disorder, phobic fear, family relational challenges, and a variety of other issues. I have spent a number of years helping support people experiencing grief and loss, trauma, and life and coping skills acquisition. I also have extensive experience working with parents of children with disabilities, and professional caretakers. I utilize elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solutions-focused, narrative, and experiential therapy, tailored to each clients needs and strengths.
My counseling style is focused on problem-solving, empowerment, empathy, and healing. I embrace all lifestyles and orientations. I am not a religious counselor, but I do incorporate spiritual support techniques, such as mindfulness skills and meditative interventions. I have taught meditation for over 25 years, focused on calming the busy western mindset in a user-friendly way. I respect all (or no) faiths, but I am particularly suited to clients who would like an intuitive counselor who's therapeutic orientation partners with their own spiritual practices or beliefs. I believe in every client's innate ability to shift and transform, given the right therapeutic, clinical, and energetic support to move forward. I look forward to meeting with you, thank you!

She is very insightful and patient. I really appreciate her knowledge and recommendations. She encourages me to try new ways of approaching a situation. I am glad she is there to help me see what i have had a hard time seeing, myself as a person who deserves to be here. Much mahalos Rachel.
I've gotten so much out of my time talking with Rachel! This was my first time doing any kind of therapy, so I was quite hesitant at first. Despite me taking some time to open up, she did such a great job to help me not feel so awkward about it. She was knowledgeable, empathetic, and validating of my perspective. I would 100% recommend her to others!
Incredibly attentive and remarkable expertise. She has a perspective on the world that is similar enough to mine to make me feel in the right company while having the expertise to challenge that perspective appropriately. Incredibly helpful and empowering.
Rachel has been such an amazing counselor. From someone who has never gone to counseling before she really made me feel welcomed and listened to when it came to my concerns and worries. She is highly knowledgeable in her field and always makes time to respond to messages.
Rachel is experienced, knowledgeable, kind, and easy to talk to. I would recommend anyone, regardless of what they are going through, to work with Rachel.
Rachel is attentive, patient, and very understanding! She gives a listening ear, brings personal experiences in to play to make me feel at ease, and gives helpful advice and tips! She has been extremely helpful thus far and I hope to continue to make progress towards my goals with her.
Rachel is not only very knowledgeable, but she is beyond supportive, relatable and listens. Her wide array of knowledge is helping me tackle multiple things going on. She’s very professional and yet puts me at ease immediately. Highly recommend Rachel to anyone seeking therapy.
Rachel is attentive, insightful and willing to be vulnerable/ share parts of herself. She makes an effort to connect on your level. I really appreciate how affirming, positive and warm she is!
Rachel has been a clear voice of insight into my situation. She has given me confidence in the choices I make and in understanding situations.
I've only had one session so far with Rachel, but I am very impressed already by her knowledge, understanding, and non-judgemental/truly caring way of working with me; I also like that she sees me as a collaborator with her in helping myself to be more mentally happy and healthy.
She is just perfect for me. I couldn’t ask for better person to help me with my many issues.
Rachel is an amazing counsellor. I highly recommend her, as she clearly truly cares!
Rachel listens very well and has really good suggestions. She is so helpful and I'm very glad I was paired with her.
