About Me

My background in systems thinking enables me to help clients make connections between the multiple influences in their lives - including relationships, health, work, and family - and to see the patterns in how those influences affect thinking and behavior. I am a licensed marital and family therapist in the state of Connecticut, an Approved Supervisor with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, and a master trainer. I have more than 15 years of experience working as a therapist, and more than 10 educating therapists in training and serving as a supervisor.

I am dynamic, focused, and active in helping clients achieve their goals. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, health struggles, and career challenges. I am a sex-positive therapist, and sexuality educator. I also provide business consultation and executive coaching to professional clients. My approach is active and engaged, focused on behavior and measurable outcomes. I am heavily influenced by cognitive therapies, solution-focused work, and strategic, innovative models. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek help, and I am ready to get started. I look forward to working with you!
