Rachel Trembley, LPC
About me
Hi, My name is Rachel Trembley and my pronouns are she/her. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Texas with 5 years of experience working as a therapist. I received my Masters's in Professional Counseling from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
My experience ranges in working with clients ages 11- 35 years old on a wide range of concerns including; anxiety, depression, ADHD, gender identity, sexual orientation, self-esteem & improvement, communication. As a former teacher, I also have experience working with educators on career satisfaction, compassion fatigue, burnout, and lack of fulfillment and meaning.
I believe you shouldn’t have to know everything from an Intro to Psych class to understand your therapist. In my opinion, your productivity doesn’t determine your worth. I value authenticity and transparency. I’m a mental health advocate working to break the stigma around going to therapy. I believe in a life based on experiences and contentment, not things and consumption. I am passionate about what I do.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe you deserve someone who lets you be who you are. You’re the expert on you, so you guide our work. I’ll meet you where you are and use reflective questions to guide sessions and change. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
In our sessions, I’ll encourage you to be vulnerable and genuine by being that way myself. I’ll help you name your emotions and allow you space to feel them. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Therapy is work, but it’s rewarding and fulfilling, and I can’t wait to share that with you.

Rachel has been beyond wonderful helping me work through the mess that is my life. She's kind, understanding and has certainly helped me realize and say the things that I need to work through to make positive changes. I cannot express how much it's helping me through my current issues.

Rachel made me feel at ease and supported me in holding space for a lot of intense emotions I was having. She's caring, soft, and encouraging and always reminds you it's okay to experience the full range of human emotions.
