About Me
I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor working with children, teens, adults, and families. Having worked with adults with disabilities for much of my life, I am no stranger to human services. I have a significant background in behavioral interventions, and have found that changing behavior requires investigation of the function of behavior.
Within families of all makeups, I believe one person contributes to the whole; in order to heal one member of the family, we enlist the help of its members. Communication is critical, and often times we need to state the obvious. I treat couples and families as teams, all of the members helping build each other up and working toward the same goal. One of my passions is nontraditional and blended families.
I am trained in EMDR therapy and am working toward certification. Some of my target areas of treatment include a trauma focus, anxiety, couple and family healing, stress management, and behavior modification. Treatment is always specific to the client, and I often explore unfamiliar modalities, if I feel something my better help my client.
I love working with children and families involved in kinship and foster care. Blended families require a unique level of understanding, which is a skill I bring to the table. Compassion and understanding make healing possible, and I aim to teach those skills to my clients. Remarkable things can happen in relationships when simple but uncomfortable conversations happen.

Rachelle and I connected immediately. She is nonjudgmental, supportive, validating, and offers great ideas and suggestions to guide me in my journey toward health and happiness. Rachelle is extremely personable and also very trustworthy, thoughtful and vulnerable. Her willingness to share personal experiences has built a strong foundation of trust for me to lean into her support and expertise.
I never imagined I could have such a strong, loving, supportive connection with my therapist. I know she is in my corner, has my back, and also providing me the highest level of expertise possible.
Love her! She’s so personable!
Rachelle is an absolutely spectacular therapist. During a very vulnerable and challenging time of my life, she was steadfastly sensitive to my needs and helped me make progress towards every single one of my goals, big and small. Her methods are flexible and honest. I always felt like she listened to me really well, and easily adapted to my requests. Her honesty and openness about herself and her perspective helped me to feel comfortable sharing every aspect of my position in life. She communicates very clearly and sets clear expectations for herself and others. The way that she's honest about what she's capable of and what she'd like to learn more about, and how she's going to take her learning seriously, makes her really stand out as a mental health professional. She genuinely cares so much for her clients, and her follow-through proves that. I am so grateful for the ways that Rachelle has touched my life.
Love the convenience of BetterHelp. My counselor responds in a timely manner and is a great help for me. Love the experiences and suggestions to help me be a better me.
Rachelle has been so very helpful through some very rough times. She listens, makes me laugh, and gives me perspective. I would not have made it through the last weeks and months without her. We have lots of work still to do and I am counting on her to guide me through.
She's amazing! She should get a raise, or a certificate or something. She's helped me so much. I can honestly say that she's even saving my life.
Rachelle has been a great counselor. She listens and has really focused on how to help me through several life experiences that are all going on at once. She has a unique background with someone similar to my ex and that has proven to be very beneficial in that she does truly understand a lot of the challenges I'm facing right nowZ
Rachelle is amazing! She is such a good listener and she always empathizes with me and makes my concerns and struggles feel valid. She has good advice and she really cares about people. She checks in often and she always responds to messages. She’s awesome!
Rachelle has been great. She has been supportive and helpful and I appreciate her helping me through some very difficult times. She helped me see other perspectives and become more understanding. I would and have recommended her to others.
She is a very compassionate and down to earth person. She is understanding and prepared to listen and help you overcome life's obstical. She is honestly just good to talk to and I appreciate how she helped me. I can tell she really cared about me, and wants what is best for ME. In our last session she said she loves it when people "fire" her because it means they dont need help anymore and they are ready to be independent again. It tells me that her goals for me are totally in my best interest. If I need therapy again I want her!
Rachelle is amazing! She is very patient and asks a lot of good questions to make sure she understands where you are coming from and what your needs are. She makes me feel validated and always offers insight on solutions or tools that can help me overcome obstacles. She’s helped me find my voice and understand that my feelings matter too. She is very knowledgeable and presents the information in a way that’s very relatable and easy to understand. I would recommend her to my closest friends and family!
Rachelle is engaging. She doesn't hold your hand but rather nudges you in the right direction. She isn't there to give you answers but rather the tools needed for you to discover them on your own.
Rachelle is not only exceptionally competent, but she is immediately caring and genuine. She has a great sense of humor and demeanor. I loved working with her from the very beginning and would want to work with her again!
