Rae Lynne Chase, LISW
About me
I am a LISW licensed in Iowa with over 5 years of experience working as a mental health and substance use therapist and an additional 9 years of experience in the social work field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-image and confidence, parenting concerns and ADHD. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma and/or emotional abuse.
My counseling style is collaborative, warm and interactive. I believe in order for therapy to be successful, the relationship has to start with respect, grace and compassion. I use a variety of approaches including EMDR, DBT and client-centered counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Rae Lynne is kind, attentive, and has always done her best to show up for my needs as a client. If she doesn't know something particular at first, she admits what she doesn't know and goes out of her way to help me more. That is something I really appreciate about her as a therapist. She is empathetic, a great listener, and I'm very grateful to have her as my therapist.

Rae Lynne always seems to 'get it'. I've thought I was complicated for a long time, in a lot of ways I am, but she is able to help me dissect and see things I never thought possible about myself. Giving me moments of being able to see myself from the outside.
