About me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Kentucky. I received my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Spalding University’s School of Professional Psychology and completed my internship training at Jackson Memorial Hospital-University of Miami in Miami, Florida where I provided outpatient, inpatient and consultative services. I also received my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Montclair State University where I specialized in Latino mental health. I am a member of the Kentucky Psychological Association and the National Latinx Psychological Association.

I have been in the mental health field for over 15 years working with children, families, couples and adults. I have experience working with multicultural issues, mood issues, life events, professional/career issues and health related issues and can provide clinical services in both Spanish and English.

Dr. V cut through my bullshit unlike I have ever had a therapist do before. Therapists have always kind of moved like water with me, down all the rabbit trails, but he sliced right through to the heart of the matter and I couldn't be more grateful.
