Dr. Raina Hafftka is a graduate of Auburn University’s Counseling Psychology doctoral program, where she gained a strong foundation in the clinical skills that are necessary for productive counseling with a variety of populations and clinical concerns. Broadly, she approaches her work from a Person-Centered theoretical orientation and is a firm believer that for counseling to work, the relationship between client and counselor is of essential importance and must be built on togetherness, support and collaboration. She has a warm and empathic counseling style and believes that all cases are unique, and call for careful consideration based on interactions between the client’s concerns, history, and their constellation of cultural factors. She feels honored to be able to support her clients in the process of exploration of their life and concerns. Together she and her clients will seek out and clarify stuck points, so that her clients can build personal insight and begin finding ways to pursue their goals and enrich their lives.
