Raiza Felicitas


About Me

My name is Raiza (Rise-a) and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a wide range of experience working with teenagers, adults, and elder adults. I specialize in working with clients with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adjustment issues and PTSD.

My approach in therapy work is to help individuals learn more about themselves by asking the right questions. I value the use of person-centered approach, meaning, I strive to treat individuals with respect and dignity. My goal is to teach individuals how to change maladaptive thought patterns, beliefs, and/or behaviors through cognitive behavioral techniques and mindfulness. I hope to incorporate simple exercises and assignments to supplement weekly sessions. I highly value self-care and the relationship between the mind, body, and soul. I will work well with clients who are motivated to begin change from within.

As your counselor, I will provide you with emotional support and empowerment. More importantly, I will work with you in becoming a better version of yourself. I look forward to working with you.

Raiza is a very nice and kind person, whenever I talk to her about any issues I might have, I feel understood and not judged at all. She is giving me advice which turn out to be good for me, or at least make me want to change my mindset on so many things, which is exactly what I am looking for. I turned to counselling as a bit of a last resort as I didn't think I had anything to talk about but I instantly felt comfortable talking to Raiza. I'm still fairly new to having counselling but I have already been able to see some of my issues from different perspectives which can only be beneficial. Raiza's confidence in me being able to make a positive change to my life keeps me attending the scheduled sessions but she is also understanding if I find myself unable to talk when it comes to it and there is no pressure to continue. I'm pleased that I made the decision to try counselling.
