Randall Browning, LPCC
About me
Hello!
Using ancient Greek and Roman Stoic philosophy, as well as Buddhism and Daoism, in therapy, can help people develop their own philosophy as an effective way to form a solid base for growing inner stability in the face of the ever changing landscape of our lives.
Strengths Based Therapy is also an important part of my therapeutic approach. Many of my clients have survived tremendous trauma, depression, and anxiety. I always want to know...”How did you do that?” In answering this question, we start to identify and explore the strengths that people already bring to the table. I believe that our healing comes from our strength, not some pathology that perhaps we have been diagnosed with. I like to stay positive and help people move forward into a life that they want to live.
I have a BS in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a Masters of Counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Additional areas of focus: Relationship issues, Grief, Intimacy-related issues, Anger management, Career difficulties, Bipolar disorder, Coping with life changes, Chronic pain illness and disability, Men's issues, Midlife crisis

He listens to me, and I feel better after the session. I think about what he has told me as I go through my day.
