About Me

Hello! My name is Randy Buck and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona. I am intrigued by the human condition and love to experience the benefits of counseling with my clients. Counseling can be such a wonderful privilege that brings about the best for people. I focus primarily on Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Trauma/Abuse, and Relationship issues. In my experience, I have worked with most all counseling issues and have a comfort and familiarity with whatever we may face together. I have experience in IOP, Hospitals, Individual, and Couples. For some, addiction accompanies mental health issues, and the struggles are real.

I use a variety of approaches in counseling, but focus primarily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems approaches. Therapy involves the physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual components to be most effective while occurring in a compassionate and supportive environment. My style is warm and supportive, while offering wisdom and a touch of reality as needed. Your time in therapy is not a time for judgement, but a time of healing and hope that can guide you through your struggle. I am willing to partner with you through your journey. I consider it an honor that you would allow me to join you on your journey.

Be courageous for yourself and reach out today if you need help. I am here for you!

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Randy is a truly excellent counselor. I can't recommend him enough. He is perceptive, warm, insightful, and a true professional all-around. He provides actionable coping strategies and asks all the right questions to help you examine your thoughts and motivations. I'm very grateful to have him in my corner!

I am very grateful for Randy’s time spent helping me work through the emotions I don’t quite understand and through the things I have perceived incorrectly. It’s helping me feel more stable little by little. I’m very grateful he is on Better Help and I recommend him to anyone who is struggling with BPD as well.

He’s great and listens to my concerns. He always provides good ways for me to help my anxiety.

I have been working with Randy for close to 6 months now. Randy has always listened to my concerns and taken them seriously, but more importantly, he has offered me a perspective on multiple occasions that has forced me to reconsider my presuppositions about my perceived problems. He has also offered fantastic advice and strategies to work through my anxiety and empower me to conquer aspects about my habits that I had previously believed to be concrete. Randy will not solve your problems; instead he will provide you the tools, grace, and space to grow. Randy’s heard it all and nothing I’ve divulged has been met with judgement, which is a quality I have not been met with in past experience. I believe Randy truly respects me as a person and works hard to assist me in growing to be more of the person I want to be. He has made my goals his own and I would recommend him to anyone!

Randy has been extremely helpful with my journey of learning how to manage my anxiety. He is not only very supportive and encouraging but also does an amazing job at helping me to challenge my negative and untrue thoughts. I have learned a lot about myself in the past two months of working with him and I look forward to the progress I will continue to make with the tools he has helped to equip me with.
