Hello!
I am a dedicated Mental Health Counselor licensed in the state of Texas, and my life’s work has been committed to helping people. My personal experience and education in social work, teaching, and counseling have prepared me to work with a wide range of life struggles including anxiety, depression, intellectual disabilities, conflict resolution, trauma, relationships, and more.

My style tends to be calming, non-judgmental and encouraging. I tend to pull from Person-centered, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Rational-Emotive, and Realism therapies. Just know that you are my focus, and I will always strive to help you reach your goals.

I love my counselor. She helps me work through how my brain is processing things and lets me bring up the tough stuff when I'm ready. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Like most, 2020 was a rough year. I was suffering from time management issues, lack of motivation/moving forward, and setting boundaries with family issues. I thought I could power through these, but I'm so glad I sought therapy and found Rebecca. She was incredibly supportive, kind and a great listener and sounding board. I also appreciated her caring approach; it felt personal and comfortable. Her insight was really great too; I often brought a notebook to write down her observations and reminders. At the beginning, I was worried I'd have to bring an issue to the session every time or update her on what we covered last time, but she was open about letting me have the floor for whatever I wanted to say and then she would expand on phrases/things she noted. Sometimes even just talking about my week and how I felt during certain times would reveal something and other times, it was just really nice to talk to someone without feeling like I was being a bother.

I'm taking a break from therapy, but I leave with my life completely improved: I'm managing my time, boundaries and reactions better to daily stresses and I'm setting goals for myself and taking the steps to move forward. And now I have the emotional bandwidth to support myself and others! Thank you for all your support, Rebecca!

Rebecca is so professional, yet feels like a friend that makes you feel like you matter. She keeps you on track and facing forward through difficult times and matters. I love the resources she gives to help particular issues. So attentive and positive. I can’t say enough good things about her.
