Rebecca Carr

(NCC, LPC, PMH-C)

About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist and have been counseling individuals for over twenty years. The majority of my work focuses on supporting women through anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, low self-esteem, challenges related to maternity and parenthood (perinatal mental health), and life stage adjustments. I hold a Master’s degree in counseling and additional training in perinatal/maternal mental health, grief, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

My practice utilizes a blended approach of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, brief, and Gestalt therapies. In a friendly, non-judgmental, positive environment we will work through any perceptions or challenges that may be impeding you from living your best most joyful, meaningful life. We will work together to develop a true sense of self-awareness and happiness.

Personality-wise, I like to think that I have a down to earth, friendly style.

We can’t change what has occurred in the past, but we will work together to find closure, acceptance, and balance in the present.

Rebecca is wonderful. I'm really feeling a lot better since meeting her. I really like that I'm able to talk about my struggles with work. Despite not being in the same profession as me, she really understands my challenges and suggests helpful ways to get over the hurdles I face
