Rebecca Kaber

About Me

My name is Rebecca and I hope to be a useful support on your journey to a happy life. I have extensive experience working with people who reach a crossroad and find themselves stuck. My approach to getting people "unstuck" is to draw upon my client's natural skills, wisdom, and resiliency. Often times these qualities seem hidden when times get rough... my job is to help you uncover them. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, a short-term treatment that serves to improve mood and decision-making by targeting problematic thinking. I offer a practical problem-solving approach that serves to reduce presenting problems and improve overall functioning. I believe that therapy should be challenging, but it should also be enjoyable (and dare I say fun) . For over a decade, my approach to treatment has helped people through major life transitions, cope with traumatic history, and gain control over problematic behavior such as substance abuse, sexual problems, and overeating. I look forward to meeting you and working together as a team in getting you back to better!

Please note that I have available appointments Monday-Friday between 8:30a-3p.

Rebecca was amazing, helped me realize things I would have been running in circles with in my head. Thank you so much.

I'm very thankful to have Ms. Kaber in my corner. I really feel with her we are getting to the core of my issues and will find constructive and working ways to deal with them. I like that I can always reach out to her in need and the support she gives. These may be tough times but with her, I know I'll get through them.
