Hello! My name is Rebecca Morris, I'm an LCSW from the state of Indiana. I have a Master's Degree in Social Work from Northern Kentucky University. I am passionate about walking with others during their struggles in life.
My main focuses for therapy are evidence based practices of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. I believe in the power of learning to "tune in" to what is going on in our internal world, and becoming comfortable with talking to ourselves like we would talk to a cherished friend or loved-one. I incorporate a holistic approach that deals with these evidence based practices, solution focused approaches, and body movements. The beauty of therapy is that YOU get to 'drive the bus' - your goals are my goals when it comes to your therapy. We will move at your pace - together!
I create a comfortable and non-judgmental setting as I believe in empathetic and person-centered approaches to therapy. We will laugh together as well as address the "tough stuff" life throws at you. I believe that all behavior makes sense given the context of what someone is going through.
I have experience in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, trauma/abuse, addictions, relationship struggles, PTSD, depression/anxiety, stress management, OCD, and balancing school/life and daily tasks.

Rebecca definitely helped me in my anxiety and stress issues related to self esteem and work stress. She was super helpful and assured me of how valid my feelings were about stress I was feeling. She reassured me that I wasn't silly or crazy for feeling how I was. She was also incredibly receptive to messages and overall awesome :)
