I received my undergraduate degree (B.S. in Psychology from Wayne State University, Detroit as well as completed her Masters in Social Work (M.S.W), with honors. I completed additional curriculum in the medical sciences at Wayne State University School of Medicine and studied Health Care at Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

I have found working with Rebecca a very positive experience. When I first started online counseling, I was unsure of the whole process and my mental conditions were at their worst. I was not sure if counseling was a good idea at the time after messaging heaps and not getting as many messages back as I hoped. But, I took a step back, started trusting in my self (as Rebecca encouraged) and listened to the core of what my counsellor was saying. I am happy to say that in the two weeks of counseling I've had, despite many stressors, I have improved a lot! Online counseling has had a significant impact on the way I respond to stressful situations and relationships. Some of what I have been told hasn't been easy to hear as it's so accurate (the truth can hurt!), but Rebecca's technique gets to the crux of the matter and deals with the issue head on. I also know to trust her advice, as she is highly qualified and what she says works. When I communicated that what she said was a little too much for me to hear at times, she adjusted her approach to meet my needs. Rebecca is able to wade through my massive amounts of venting to get to the heart of what's really going on and help me to seek a healthier perspective on situations. Since I've started counseling I feel a lot more peaceful.
At this point she is the best therapist I have ever had. I've met with several others. It was mostly them listening to my problems but not introducing exercises or giving me honest feedback.
