About Me

I am a licensed board certified counselor with the state of Oklahoma. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Masters in Counseling and Human Relations with an emphasis in Art Therapy.

I have worked in both in-patient and out-patient settings assisting patients with a wide range of mental health issues. I specialize in trauma, relationship conflict/divorce/loss, personal identity struggles, depression, and coping with anxiety issues.

I believe in change and betterment. Personal change and a commitment to work through difficult emotions can be daunting for most people. Being able to identify problematic life issues is important, but so too is the readiness to make a change. For this reason, I provide therapy at the pace of the client’s readiness to move forward.

I tailor the therapy approach to the needs of the client. My approach may include Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered, Existential therapy, and Humanistic counseling. As your therapist, I am on your side to assist in your journey to a balanced and happy life. Be proud of yourself for asking for help!

Rebecca came into my life to help me get through the most difficult time of my life. My husband was emotionally abusive, I had betrayed his trust and we were literally on the verge of divorce. She helped BOTH of us navigate this extremely difficult winding road that was changing every single day & helped us both learn to communicate and love each other in a whole new way. Our relationship has never been better and this is literally the beginning of a healthier and happier “new” marriage between us.

Rebecca is wonderful! I feel very comfortable talking to her about anything. It’s very easy to talk to her. She give wonderful advice and provides a listening ear when I need it. I have greatly enjoyed my sessions with Rebecca and my mental health has improved so much in the past few months. Thank you better help and thank you Rebecca! <3

I worked with Rebecca for about a month while trying to get counseling covered by my insurance. Even in that short amount of time, she brought some great insight into my situation and was very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, helpful, and encouraging. I would recommend her to others!

I never expected to connect with someone like Rebecca. In my country experts in the topic which is at the crux of my need for counsel are almost non existent. More importantly for this review - her manner, knowledge, method(s) of practice and everything else necessary on a professional level are solid and adaptable where necessary.

I’d imagine what she does for me might take a very different form for what she might do for another to achieve an outcome. So, details aside, she’s a wonderfully competent practitioner ... if she is a fit for your needs then she’ll be of immense help. If she isn’t then she’ll say so and try to refer you to someone she deems better equipped. Others wouldn’t do this. Shouldn’t go without mention she also has integrity.

Rebecca listens to me and having become comfortable speaking with her over the last few months has really helped me, by understanding my perspective. Would highly recommend speaking with Rebecca, she has helped me no end!
