About me

Hello! I’m Rebecca and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in the state of PA. I began my career working as a crisis counselor for victims of trauma, particularly those affected by sexual assault. I have 5 years of experience with drug and alcohol addiction in inpatient and outpatient settings. I also have experience providing forensic evaluations for courts, jail, and other community agencies.

Most recently, I provide counseling to people struggling with mood and anxiety disorders. This might include anxiety attacks, depression, bipolar disorder, panic and personality disorders. I love watching people grow, build motivation, and confidence in their daily lives, finding more meaning and joy each day.

I utilize Person-Centered therapy as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as a way to build mastery and create measurable goals. That said, I very much enjoy being in my client’s space with them; to be able to hear their stories and understand, to the best of my ability, the events and experiences that make us who we are today.

I love Rebecca! She's really good at sitting back, listening to what I'm thinking or feeling. Asking me questions along the way to help me better understand maybe why I'm feeling the way I am. If it's healthy. thinking. And if it's not she helps me to re-frame it so it can be helpful. I really feel like she cares and is invested in helping me work through everything!
