Rebekah Hadiaris, LCSW
About me
Hello! My name is Rebekah, and I am an LCSW with 15 years of experience in the Social Work field. I graduated from the Masters program at The University of New England in 2005. Since then, my primary focus has been working with the geriatric population and their families. I have worked in nursing home/skilled settings, Assisted Living communities, and hospice care. My specialty has been supporting my clients and their family system during these transitional times. The focus may be an aging individual themselves, or family members as they navigate these unchartered waters. My clients are often dealing with many losses in their lives including death of family/friends, illness and loss of independence. I operate from a strengths based perspective, meaning that I help people focus on what they are good at, instead of their limitations.
My style is warm and approachable. I truly enjoy interacting with people. I believe that therapy is a collaborative effort between myself, and my clients. Together we will identify goals, and determine a course of action to help you meet your highest level of autonomy, and eventually acceptance.
