About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) from New York with over 32 years of experience and a varsity high school coach of 34 years. If worked 3 years as a youth counselor in a youth agency, 7 years as drug and alcohol counselor and 32 years as high school worker. I also had a private practice for 18 years addressing substance abuse with individuals and families, relationships, family stress and crisis interventions, all after serving my country in the US Air Force.
My counseling style is sensitive and interactive. I believe everyone should be heard and validated, but never stigmatized by their thoughts and feelings. My approach is client center and solution focused therapy. I will tailor our treatment to meet your issues and concerns.
It takes a strong mined individual to seek assistance with conflict and I am here to help you through your quest of empowering yourself.
