About Me

Hi. My name is Rima. As a parent and a professional, I have experienced several life changes and understand the challenges that we often face with uncertainties. I am looking forward to working with you. I am passionate about working with adults of all ages particularly college students, looking to grow and learn about themselves, because I want to support and empower you. You and I will work together in exploring your world, dive into your thoughts and concerns, and help you plan for your future. My focus is always about helping you find what you're looking for by helping you discover your strengths and talents to find your opportunities.

Perhaps you are ready to deal with the trauma you have experienced in your past or simply want to talk to someone to find your way.

Discover how healing from old wounds can help you build stronger healthier relationships in your future, helping you heal from the wounds of yesterday to ensure stronger, healthier relationships today and tomorrow.

During our sessions together, we will work at your speed and you decide the priorities in your life. We can dive into topics that matter most to you and it is very important to ensure that you are comfortable with the process of how and what we talk about. I believe that you know yourself better than anyone. Together we will explore topics that bring you joy and happiness and understand your future goals. I can empathize with how overwhelming it must be for you having to make so many important decisions and trying to figure out what’s next. I am here to help you. Let’s take one day at a time and one step at a time. I am here to provide unconditional positive regard and support you in your ventures. I am interested in understanding your doubts and fears. How you make your decisions is a very important part of the process.

I work from a client-centered, solution focused and cognitive-behavioral approach. My focus is always about you and your healing.
I teach mindfulness and living with intent and purpose.

She is very smart and has a lot to offer. I have already learned several techniques from her, and felt fairly comfortable with her. This is not my first attempt at counseling, though it is different on computer, be it easier at a distance or not. Anxiety and depression mixed with other things are tough to deal with. I appreciate her honesty.

Rima is kind, understanding, and thoughtful. She has helped me navigate probably the darkest time in my life so far. The tools and guidance that she provides allows me to design a path for me in my emotional journey. I am still navigating the storm, but I can see blue skies up ahead. I am grateful Rima has been with me to advise course corrections when needed. Thank you Rima.

I have only had 2 sessions with Rima but those were enough for me to sign up for 3 more months.
The worksheets, videos and book she recommended were perfect resources for me. She has been kind and allowed me to be gentle with myself. I look forward to working with her the next few months. For the first time in a several months I feel a core sense of hope that I can navigate this post- midlife part of my life with joy, love and adventure.

If you want someone who will tell you how it is and doesn't hold punches, Rima is the therapist for you. She listens to you and gives you advice on anything that you may have questions. She doesn't sugar coat anything. I want a therapist that will tell me how it is and wants me to be successful. I appreciate Rima for everything she does.

Rima has been helping my for a few months now with anxiety and depression issues. I’ve tried therapy in the past but haven’t connected as well to other therapists. Rima has helped me immensely. When I started, I was struggling daily, and didn’t know where else to turn. Now I have many tools to use and I’m learning to enjoy life more. Can’t recommend her enough.
