Robbin Gilbreath

(MA, LPC)

About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and have over three years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My approach is Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness-based Cognitive, and Solution Focused Brief Therapies. However, the treatment modalities are tailored specifically to you and your therapeutic needs. I will encourage you to examine how your thinking influence the way you behave. I will guide you on your journey of self discovery and help you locate the root /original cause of the issue so that you can move toward a place of healing. I have a laid back style and no topic is taboo. I will give you various techniques to try so that you can tailor your "therapeutic took kit" in order to meet your needs.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

I am a person who cares for others and finds it very difficult to ask for any help for myself. This has been very helpful, private and professional.

She truly cares, she gets me to think about my situations differently than I have been (thankfully) and I feel there is actually hope for me.

Robbin has become the friend I needed, who also has the skills to give me the support and help I need. This has been, unexpectedly the hardest time in my life, and she lets me know how strong I am and how she is on my side. I am very blessed to have been connected to her.
