About me

I am a practicing LPC in Texas and have been working for the last 6 years. I have experience with inpatient mental health as well as outpatient. I like to look at different options when presented with issues to find what works best for my clients. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community I am aware and familiar with issues that are faced daily in the community. I have treated a spectrum of mental health diagnosis ranging from Depression, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia all the way up to Dementia. I believe in finding solutions together as a team and I want to work with you to help you solve your concerns in a healthy manner.

I come from a cognitive behavioral background with an emphasis in cognitive distortions. I believe that the client is the captain of the therapeutic ship and I'm along for the ride to provide guidance.

Robert makes me feel heard and validated in my emotions and how things effect me in everything that I've experienced in my life, especially in the traumatic events that I've had in the last few years. It's like having a friend with expertise and insight but on a professional level. I wasn't sure how it would go before our conversations started but there's a good connection and I feel understood.
