I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, licensed in the state of Minnesota. I have been in private practice for 8 years now. Clients I have worked with have diagnoses from depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders and personality disorders to name a few. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
My counseling style varies depending on each individual client. I make every attempt to treat clients as a whole person, not to divide a person's life challenges as separate from the person. This is helpful to see that a problem can be resolved by relying on other strengths of the individual. I will use humor and normalizing as tools to help clients as well as skill building and self compassion as tools the clients can use to help themselves when they are ready.
I do not shy away from challenges and I know that reaching out for help is scary and going into a place of unknown. I look forward to walking alongside clients as they journey through the process of starting to live their best life. I will be your biggest cheerleader, loudest advocate and strongest defender as you go through the challenges and triumphs of counseling.

Rochelle does an amazing job listening to what your concerns are and figuring out a plan to address the things you want to work on. She also makes speaking to her very comfortable and is upfront with her answers and intentions. I am a STRONGLY private person and she has made communications very pleasant.
Rochelle helped a lot in my most difficult time.
Rochelle is great. She meets me where I am on my journey, and I like that there are various methods to use for counseling, including messaging and in-person options.
I've been seeing Rochelle for only two weeks and I'm already impressed with her. I like her style of communication and she gives great advice. I feel like I'm already getting my feet under me and have a plan on how to go forward. I'm grateful for her support.
Rochelle makes me feel so comfortable, our conversations make me feeling like I’m just catching up with an old friend.
I have never felt so understood by a therapist. Rochelle really listens to me and takes the time to answer my questions and concerns and tackle my problems in depth and in detail. I have had people in the past merely approach me with empathy and no accountability or strategy to heal, Rochelle offers me both in high volume. She empathizes with me but pushes me and gives me action steps to learn healthier coping skills, find better ways to approach and navigate all the relationships in my life, and reframe my self-defeating thought patterns and gain more confidence in my authentic thoughts and feelings. I couldn’t be happier with her help and the functionality of BetterHelp.
Rochelle was amazing. I really enjoyed her as my counselor. I was in a very dark place before I found betterhelp. I was suffering postpartum anxiety and had recently been put on meds. I needed to speak with someone desperately and having a baby made it hard for me to meet with anyone. Rochelle was exactly what I needed when I described the type of counselor I wanted. She was very patient with me, and very flexible. She's really helped me get back on track with my life postpartum. I am very thankful for this app and amazing counselors like her!
I’ve only been working with Rochelle a couple of weeks but I feel like she understands where I’m coming from much of the time. She has given me lots of good advice and resources just in the couple of times we’ve spoken - and she is super responsive via text messages which I need and appreciate. I am glad I was connected with her as a counselor!
Rochelle gives me confidence that I am not crazy. I love the worksheets she sends.
Rochelle is the best. I feel a lot of emotional support from her and the solutions she proposes are just small enough where I'm not anxious about it. She always checks in on me and that truly makes me feel like I matter. She has experience in assisting with all the concerns I've brought up to her and is very encouraging when you're in the process of growing as an assertive individual. I am very thankful that she was initially paired with me on betterhelp, since I've gone through many counselors and groups in person.
Rochelle is sweet and great at getting back to people. She seems to have an abundance of resources available for those willing to take a hard look at themselves and at the possible steps needed to get through difficult situations.
