About me

I hold two master's degrees in counseling psychology and ministry, along with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I spent three decades in full-time ministry, and about the same amount of time in outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment. I spent 7.5 years community behavioral health, including management, and five years in children's protective services as an in-home services worker. While back in the ministry for a period, I served on the board of directors for the local community mental health center. These experiences provided a wide variety of exposures to multiple facets of mental health treatment. One segment involved the initiation of an intensive outpatient program at the community mental health center. I have also just concluded five years part-time as the Mental Health Consultant of the Roswell Job Corps Center.
