Roni Menachem, LMHC
About me
I have a strong passion and commitment to helping my clients improve the quality of their lives. My name is Roni Menachem, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I earned my master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University, NY in 2008. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative, based on a trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients. I incorporate both concrete recommendations and insight-oriented direction to help my clients understand and cope with challenges that arise. I provide individual therapy and work with adults and adolescents. My 12 years of experience includes supporting clients with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, coping and emotional regulation skills, bereavement, and academic and career related stress.
In my practice, I utilize an integrative approach. I am trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, and integrate cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques. My goal is to provide my clients with a safe space for nonjudgmental exploration where one can grow, become more self aware, and lead a more balanced life.
I look forward to hearing from you!
