About Me

I am a mental health counselor licensed in Florida with over 20 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and an addiction specialist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, PTSD and OCD.

My counseling style is warm, direct, engaging and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I do not believe in labeling people. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client centered, motivational interviewing and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our interactions and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you.

Rosalyn is a great person and very patient to listen and understand a person's issue.
She is amazing to make sure you are being heard not just listen in the time you are talking. I'm grateful to have someone who will empathize with me and give constructive advice while still help me in understanding the moment.

Lovely person to work things out with large and small. Knowledgeable and willing. What more could you want right?

I've had therapy a few times throughout my life, and Rosalyn is the first person who I feel gets me. She has such a warmth, but also an objectivity that has been incredibly helpful to me. She listens and talks with such clarity. Therapy with her just feels like talking, not a bunch of exercises. Gets to the root of things. She's helped me so much.

Ms. Collins is patient and listens to me. I feel comfortable talking to her and telling her things I don’t even tell my closest friends and family. She’s helped me so much.

I’ve found counselling with Rosalyn very productive. She encourages open and honest conversation and she is very adept and addressing key concerns and exploring the route of your problems. I’ve found the experience helpful and I’d recommend her to others.
