I have a PhD. in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Mental Health Counseling with a minor in Educational Leadership. I hold a masters in Counseling and I have my national licensure (NCC), state license (LPC) along with credentials to supervise trainees, and board certification as a tele-mental health counselor. I have been a practicing counselor since 2000. I have worked with a variety of diverse clientele addressing various concerns throughout the last sixteen years including trauma, abuse, neglect, domestic violence, grief, women’s issues, bullying, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, divorce, behavioral change and life transitions.
My clinical approach involves establishing a relationship with my clients that is warm, inviting, and provides connection as I seek to understand my clients' worldview, perspective, and personal experience. This is important since labels can be stigmatizing. I approach all clients in an effort to promote resilience, wellness, and work with clients to find ways to implement skills in their lives.
Personally, I have been married 26 years and have two wonderful children. I enjoy being outdoors, traveling, reading, writing, gardening, meditating, and learning new things.
I look forward to working with you.

Dr. Nunnery is very insightful and cares about her work. I am in a much better place inside myself because of our sessions.
Dr Nunnery is great! She really listens and offers great support and advice. She is very easy to talk to and seem to truly care about me and my situation. I am so thankful I was paired with her!
Thank you for being there when I need to talk. You have helped me work through some of my anxiety. I look forward to our next session.
She is phenomenal. She listens, doesn't judge and always has multiple ways to help me (books, worksheets, webpages). I don't know what I would have done without an amazing therapist like Dr. Nunnery. She checks in on me throughout the week and is always helping me.
She is helpful. Haven't been able to say that about others I have tried.
Dr. Nunnery was most helpful. She was caring and helped me out tremendously. I would highly recommend her to anyone struggling with difficult issues.
She is the best. She down to earth and awesome. I would recommend her to anyone that need professional help.
She's great. Supportive and insightful. Always ready to help. Challenges you just enough to make progress. 10\10.
Dr. Nunnery is honestly the best, though I may be biased. I have never really had a high opinion of any doctors, much less thought that psychology held much weight, but she has really helped me a lot and shown me that there are other paths to my goals than the ones I had been taught traditionally.
Dr. Nunnery is very good at what she does and I would recommend her to anyone with any type of problem mentally or emotionally. She will hear you out and listen to you about everything and she does not tell anyone. She has changed my life in such a short matter of time and she is just so helpful for me.
