About me

Thank you for visiting my site and taking the first step toward self-care. My name is Rosemary Anderson, licensed clinical social worker in Maryland (primary), North Carolina and District of Columbia. I hold an MBA, MSW, and I have worked professionally for over 25 years in a variety of settings; schools, courts, military, public health, business, non-profit and for-profit agencies.

My practice focuses on helping clients who are experiencing significant life changes and stressors restore, renew, and begin again to feel happier and healthier emotionally. I am eager to work with diverse populations using culturally competent and practical therapeutic interventions. The therapeutic modalities I employ are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. What makes this practice unique is our Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) specialty practice. I am excited to counsel, coach and train employees, supervisors and senior management on workplace health and wellness topics.

I look forward to becoming your coach on this journey towards healing!
