Hello and welcome! I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas and nationally certified. I have been working in the mental health field for over 8 years in a wide array of settings including clinical, forensic, inpatient and outpatient with a variety of populations that has given me the experience needed to best help you. Many times life can have us feeling stuck, frustrated, and not knowing the first step in getting through the struggle. That's where I come in~ to enlighten you, to encourage you, to empower you with the knowledge needed to make it through. Unfortunately, suffering is a part of the human experience, but I believe true freedom and happiness come from learning how to thrive and live a meaningful life despite our negative experiences. My goal is to equip you with strategies and resources to help you to be able to do just that. I do this by taking a nonjudgmental, compassionate approach with my clients. I believe the ability to develop a great rapport with an individual is essential in the therapeutic relationship. Therapeutic techniques I utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused techniques as well as mindfulness based approaches.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I am passionate about living in the present moment and experiencing every second that life has to offer. I love to travel and to learn about life experiences of those from different cultures. I enjoy the beauty of nature. I also practice daily meditation which I have learned to be an essential item in my self-care toolbox. I look forward to working with you to build your own set of tools to help cope with anything life may throw your way.

Roslyn is very sweet, kind and followed up immediately!
Roslyn is amazing. She really makes sure she is understanding what you are saying. I feel really comfortable talking to her.
She is wonderful. I love talking to her.
In the relatively short-time I've worked with Roslyn, she's been great. In fact, I was skeptical about Betterhelp, until I got the ball rolling with her. The more you reveal about your issues, the better she [as the clear expert she is] - will understand your issues and pin them down with the sorts of strategies you need to be able to cope better. She provides specific worksheets based on what you tell her, from anxiety to depression and stress and practices that may aid your well-being, i.e. mindfulness/meditation. She tries her best to respond to each of the issues you bring her and is quite thorough. Although my issues are quite deep, in the short duration of our conversations, I have certainly improved in some areas and am excited to continue on this journey with Roslyn Igbani to see what further improvements I can make in my personal life. I certainly would recommend her as a counselor.
Roslyn Igbani is a great counselor. She has helped me to challenge negative (often untrue thoughts) through active listening, questioning, and follow up worksheets to practice through the week. She is very thorough with listening to all concerns and addressing new ways to look at situations. She guides me to come up with thoughtful solutions to my questions and is always kind and patient. Ms Igbani has been a huge help!
She has been incredibly patient with me (for 9 months) and helped me through the toughest time in my life. She suggested various helpful ways to deal with my situation. I strongly recommend her.
Roslyn is so lovely, when I speak with her it feels like talking to an old friend. She listens and truly seems to understand me and works hard to better learn things about me. She’s responsive and kind, she tells me it’s okay to be and feel the things I do.
She is very nice and non judgmental. She always answers me and she always gives me tools to help cope with my issues. Since I decided to start therapy, it has helped me better than me trying to cope by myself.
Ms. Igbani, is thoughtful and caring. She is helping me see my troubles in a new perspective so it makes them easier to conquer.
