Ruthie is wonderful and warm. She is a keen listener and someone who works with the client to assist in self-discovery. She helped me navigate, without judgement, my thoughts and feelings, and helped me to practice self compassion.

She's the best! So glad I got connected with her. I liked my therapists before in Pennsylvania, but I love her approach so much more even though sometimes it is hard and uncomfortable. I like that she doesn't just sit there and listen and occasionally say something, but that she's active in our sessions and gives me homework to really address my problem areas. Also that she forces me to confront the uncomfortable in a way that is gentle and safe. Hope to stick with her for as long as possible to help with my problems I have.

Ruthie's kindness comes through with every word. And behind that kindness lies wisdom, insight and gentle coaching. Even when things are hard to hear, she's a pleasure to talk with.

I am so thankful for finding Ruthie Brooks. I've always felt welcomed and safe to express myself, even in my lowest moments. Thinking back to where I was before, compared to where I am now, not only mentally, but also physically,... such a noticeable difference for the better. Whether it's a listening ear, another way to look at a situation, a new mental health practice, or a new resource for me to use, Ruthie came through for me. I honestly can't thank her enough for the value she's added to my life.

Ruthie's worksheets during my grief and recovery process have allowed me to think about what I'm really feeling and how I'm dealing with emotional upheaval. In our video sessions, she listens quietly and probes gently. The experience has been one that I've appreciated (and needed) so very much. I am 100% pleased.

Ruthie has been extremely awesome in helping me realize my thoughts in a structured and understandable fashion. I have never experienced therapy before, and this has been an absolutely lovely first look into the world of mental help that I will continue to appreciate in my everyday life. :D
