I am not just a counselor, but also a peer. I am a black person of color counselor who is also non-binary trans-masc, and have struggled with ADHD, anxiety, and depressive symptoms throughout my life. I am Kink aware and Poly Affirming, and specialize in working with LGBTQA+ issues. My goal is that my personal and professional experience will allow me to be a positive support for my clients.
Therapy is a joint process that cannot be done without your effort. I cannot "fix" you because you do not need "fixing," I am here to listen and help you learn and grow so you can have the tools you need to meet your long and short-term life goals. My primary focus is centered around the LGBTQ+ community, but I also enjoy working with women's issues, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and substance use disorders.
I have a client centered approach and utilize a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness techniques to help adult clients who are looking for a change in their life, looking to gain coping skills, or looking to go through their process of healing and/or recovery.

Really understanding and offers great advice!
I have really enjoyed working with Ryan. They have been extremely helpful and provide so many resources and feedback. There have been a lot of tools and flexibility. They always make me feel comfortable and have helped me explore exactly what I want to get out of therapy, and the best ways to do that.
Ryan listens and provides the right amount of insight and guidance in our cessions. At the end of each session, I always feel better about myself and my situation after talking and receiving feedback.
My therapist is very thorough, conscious, and approachable! He gives me space to talk but also gives me skills to apply that help me become a better me! He even follows up throughout the day and is not judge mental
