About me

I can help if...A small voice in your head tells you that something big needs to change. If you are tired of your internal experience of your self not matching the person that you live as day-to-day. If you feel exhausted comparing yourself to others, wanting to live the way you see other people living, yet struggling to make consistent and meaningful change. I can help guide and be with you as you recover from the lies and loss of trauma. These traumas and emotional imprints so often derive from our family or origin, current and past intimate relationships and the slow grind of neglect, invalidation and feeling alone.
More than anything, I am pragmatic in my practice through ongoing training, personal healing, self-discovery, and growth work. Life is hard and there is no way getting around this fact. I join you in experiencing the pains of existence and working with and transforming these pains into a life full of vitality and meaning. I am also EMDR-trained.
At the core of our work together will be establishing a relationship built on compassion, mutual respect and openness. The stress and demands of life can often reduce our ability to acknowledge, live through and express ourselves authentically. I believe that building a strong and stable relationship allows us to rediscover our own minds and authenticity.

The first therapist to actually take their time to respond to everything I send with meaningful, personal responses.

I think I wrote a review already but I wanted to write another one just to emphasize how good Ryan is at what he does! He's patient, listens well, and really makes you think about everything. He helps you get to the root of your issues and work on yourself, which really what more can you ask for in a therapist. I highly recommend Ryan as a therapist to anyone!

Ryan is the first person to make me feel as heard as i have been. His approach towards therapy is perfect for someone like me, a person who ambles on and on, countless topics running through my head. I cannot recommend him enough.

1st week and I really had a great experience with Ryan. He is already helping me think outside my current patterns and to realize that the mistakes I am making in life now are really the solutions to previous issues in my life. If you are unsure you should really work with him!
