About me
Hello, my name is Sabrina. I am a licensed Master therapist in Pennsylvania with 30 years of professional work experience. I graduated from Alvernia University. I am a marriage and family therapist licensed in Pennsylvania. I love working with clients from different cultures, as stated by Jung, " To know the culture is to see the person ". I help those who desire to participate in their healing. Building rapport makes them feel safe and motivated about addressing their mental health needs. I love the transformation that takes place during the treatment process. I work with young and older adults aged 17 years to 70 + years old. The Forensic, Anger, Substance Abuse populations, and many more different populations. Rapport building is the key to a successful therapeutic relationship. I have experienced and treated a great deal of life on life's terms. And concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and ADHD. I have also worked with many people who have experienced trauma and emotional abuse. The greatest strengths I have as a provider are that I am compassionate, genuine, and attentive to my clients. Painful life experiences and battles with family health trauma, grief and loss, marriage, racism, and being open to all people in life, I have come in contact with, to help navigate through life lessons
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and mindfulness, and many other theories. We will tailor a dialogue and treatment plan to meet your specific needs.
My first session with a client is to build rapport during the intake process and identify the root of the issue that the client is willing to navigate through. I meet the client at their level of need. I look forward to working with you! I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, lgbtq+ related issues, coping with grief, coping with loss, & anger management. I also have experience working with depression.
