My name is Sade Beaulieu and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Louisiana State University Health Science Center. I have various experiences in working with children, adolescents, and adults within the mental health field. I also conduct group therapy at a local Behavioral Health Hospital working with both adolescents and adults who may struggle with depression, anxiety, suicidal idealization, trauma, grief and substance abuse.
My treatment approach is mostly collaborative in nature; I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches (e.g. Existential, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Music Therapy and Trauma Focused to best assist with identifying the needs of my clients. My goal is to help you process your feelings, build strong relationships and empower you to becoming a better you. At times I might recommend reading a book, providing you a handout, or even have you complete a worksheet to aid you in achieving your goals.
I have recognized that by treating individuals mental health, I am doing more than just treating a diagnosis I'm treating a person that brings their own unique struggles, background, needs, values and beliefs. From the moment you start working with me your specific needs such as health, happiness and wellness are a top priority.
I look forward with working with you!

She always provides me with materials that I can access at anytime.
Sade has been great. Very friendly and understanding (especially when I can barely understand myself!). She helps me focus on one thing instead of all the things at once like I try to do.
