About me
I feel privileged to join my clients in working towards improving their lives.
I have worked in private practice since 2006, providing family/couple, individual, and group therapy services. I work with clients of diverse ethnicities, ages, and genders. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and solution-focused, family therapy-based, culturally sensitive, and client-centered.
As a Muslim -American with Pakistani heritage, my cultural and religious background have helped me understand and be effective in working through cultural issues in families with 2nd generation immigrant children.
I am a parent of four young children and understand issues such as effective communication in families including the parent-child relationship and marital relationship. I have also led several group therapy services including anger management and parenting classes.
It is often so difficult to reach out and seek help. Now that you've taken that first step, I'm here and ready to support you to grow and improve your life. Let's do this!
