About Me

My name is Dr. Sally Gill. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada and a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist for Individuals (CCTS-I). I earned my doctorate in General Psychology and hold an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have over seven-years of experience in therapy, working with adults, children, couples, and families, many of whom have experienced past trauma, anxiety, depression, and other life challenges.

My therapeutic approach is strength-based, anchored in empathy and respect. I feel clients are their own best experts with the innate capacity to heal and be their best selves. Sometimes, support and assistance are needed for healing. I’m here to help!

I am trained in a variety of approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral, trauma-focused, solution-focused, and narrative. I believe that the therapy experience should be tailored to each individual, based on one’s needs, strengths, situation, and goals.

You’ve taken a big step to seek growth in your life! I look forward to working with you to harness your strengths to help resolve the situations that have brought you to therapy and to enhance your personal growth.

All my best!
Dr. Sally

I’m not very found of therapy, at all. But I came to rely on it rather quickly only because of Dr. Sally!!! I felt very comfortable, almost like old friends. I have no problem opening up to her.

Dr. Gill works very well with me personally. She takes everything you say seriously but also challenges you to push yourself to improve. She give many ideas on how to approach that to help you find what work for you. She is open to giving what you need and gives you help to obtain what you need. She is very well versed in her field and is able to admit where she may not be the professional for you and provides alternative experts that may be able to help.

Dr. Gill is amazing this is my first time in counseling. Being vulnerable is something that's hard for me Dr.Gills made me feel safe. Her constant reassurance that it was okay to feel how I feel and that it was normal made a huge difference , I did not feel alone like I was the only one .She's very supportive and encouraging a great listener I'm thankful and I will continue this journey with her
