Samantha Bell, LCMHC
About me
I am delighted that you have chosen me as your counselor. I have been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor for six years and have been in the field of mental health for almost eleven years. I have worked in various settings (inpatient, outpatient, residential, school, collegiate, military base, etc).
During our sessions, we will develop a collaborative relationship where we work on any presiding issues that you have. This will allow you to really dig deep within yourself to gain a better understanding of your self-awareness. In addition, we will establish the best goals for your treatment, develop a plan for achieving these goals, and work closely to ensure these goals are achieved. I tend use a lot of solution and behavior focused interventions, while still meeting you where you are. I provide a safe, no-judgement space for you to be your most authentic self. My therapeutic style isn’t your textbook therapist. I aim to provide some light through relatability, experience and knowledge, while we take a close look at how we can rewrite your story. Overall, my therapeutic approach is eclectic, and I aim to become more holistic.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a love for people who are in the unknown and stuck points. People who are uncertain of themselves or their identity. Individuals that need to feel empowered and healed. Ones who have learned to operate on autopilot in the outside world only due to avoiding healing the inside world. My belief is that we can all find our medium. Therefore, during our time together, I will combine my personal experiences as well as my professional expertise to get you to a place of whole healing. It is a lot at times, but with the right mindset, and dedication, we will push through even in the rough patches to find a balance.

Reviews

I've had a few different therapists over the past few years and Samantha is definitely my favorite! She is a great listener and really digs into areas that I might not even realize I need help with. She does not push advice but offers suggestions that really feel tailored to me. She is also very communicative in the platform.

Samantha is very intelligent, insightful, and direct. She is organized and responsive. She tells you from the beginning that she expects you to look at therapy as an ongoing job. She’s a great listener and gives me opportunities to think my thoughts through. She doesn’t judge people and does not gaslight. I thought I just wanted answers and to be given ways to “fix myself”. But what Samatha has taught me is that this is a slow process which requires WORK. therapy is not a solution. It’s a means to a solution.

Samantha is amazing, she keeps up to date on everything going on. She is amazing and easy to talk to. She has helped me with boundaries, putting myself first, and past athletic trauma. I highly highly recommend her, you will not regret it!!

Amazing. She is so so respectful but also honest about possible things to work on. She makes me feel like I'm in a safe space to speak my peace.
