I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas and Montana. I earned my Master of Social Work degree, from the University of New England in 2014, yet have been working within the behavioral health field since 2008. I've been a practicing therapist in hospitals, inpatient and outpatient clinics, military mental health clinics, residential treatment, and private practice in the community. I have extensive experience working with those who are coping with depression, anxiety, grief/loss and trauma. Relationship problems, LGBTQ issues, sex therapy, personality disorders, eating disorders and addictive behaviors are also a specialty of mine. I have experience working with individuals, to include geriatric, adults and adolescents, couples, groups and the military/veteran population.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, and Interpersonal approaches in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. I am client-centered, which allows my clients to take a more active role in our sessions; I am here to support and help guide you along this journey. The most important aspect of therapy is the connection and comfort you feel with the person you are entrusting with your personal struggles. I truly believe we can all grow through our personal experiences by increasing our self-awareness and explore counseling. I carry a non-judgmental, open-mind when someone shares their story with me. With that being said, it would be my privilege to work with you through Hope, Healing and Recovery.
In terms of availability, I check and respond to messages at least twice daily, seven days a week. I offer live chat and phone sessions weekly to include evenings and weekends.

My time with Samantha has been great. She's a very supportive and respectful counselor, and she's been a very helpful asset in my recovery. I just hope my next counselor is as awesome as she is!
Samantha is absolutely amazing! She is an extremely supportive and caring therapist.
Samantha has been such a big help with helping me with a situation I wasn't sure how to deal with. She has been compassionate and understanding. She has always been on my side and has never discouraged me. I really enjoy talking with her
Samantha’s approach to counseling is exactly what I needed in my life. She never pressures me to speak on anything I don’t want to at the time. With that, she opens herself up so that one can easily feel welcomed to speak to her whenever they feel comfortable!
Samantha came into my life at a time where I was really in a downward spiral. From out very first interaction she was kind, she listened and I could tell she was genuine. I have been seeing her for a few months now and I truly look forward to our appointments and to share updates and I go through this journey. She breaks down things so I can understand them, she is honest and truly a joy to work with. I wouldn't change therapists even if you paid me. She is the real deal and I'm so grateful that I have had her in my corner these few months. She answers all of my message promptly and you can tell even through the messages, she cares about her clients.
Sam listens intently and responds with very genuine and valuable feedback. I would highly recommend!
She is honestly the biggest godsend of my life when it comes to therapy. She listens very well and honestly has given me many answers that most in person therapist could not. And a lot of the things I have explained going on in my head most therapist did not understand but she did. She backed it up with valid information and was very empathetic and kind it made me feel like I definitely had somewhere to go in my life and not just a circle
She is very nice, she listens and offers support and guidance. Very happy to work with her.
Samantha perfectly combines engaged listening and offering insight/suggestions. I am well versed in therapy and mental/emotional health research so I want someone able to speak to various theories and research in a meaningful way, as she does. Very happy for her compassion and care.
First time i spoke to Samantha i was much comfortable to open up with her. She will listen to your concern and try to guide you using all the tools she have on her possession.
I also feel much better after having conversation with her. Thank you Samantha for the work you do.
Sam is great and very patient and understanding. She really respects you and is a very thoughtful person.
Samantha makes me feel confident with expressing things I normally wouldn't to other people without fear of being denied of helpful and insightful guidance. I've seen many therapists in the past and she is definitely top tier.
Samantha has been amazing... I have had lots of ups and downs and she has been a rock during very hard times. I would recommend her to anyone.
Samantha is awesome! We have been working together for almost a year and she has been a supporting role that everyone needs in there life! She is always there and consistent with her work. Thank you!
Samantha is the best clinician I have ever worked with. This platform for mental health care makes it even better. She is so responsive to messages and is consistent and thoughtful in getting back to me. I appreciate her very much and her expertise.
Sam is amazing. She is understanding and compassionate.
Samantha shows concern by following up. She is proactive in her approach to therapy and makes you feel cared for.
Samantha has been really helpful in the short time I’ve been able to speak to her to help me see things more clearly.
I benefit a lot from my sessions with Samantha. After about 2 months having sessions with her, I think I’ve become clear about most of my problems. It’s life changing. Recommended!
Samantha is incredibly understanding. She is so talented at pinpointing and articulating concerns that I am not able to for myself and then providing meaningful solutions. I would recommend her to anyone.
She was a great help and very professional. I was taught things that I never even realized before. Strongly recommend.
Samantha is extremely helpful and engaging it’s amazing how fast the sessions go. She is extremely easy to talk to and gives good feedback.
She’s great- she turned my life around!
