I began working in the field of addiction in1990, in 2006 I stared work on a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling understanding that addicts very often deal with co-occurring issues. My first several years I worked primarily with adolescents; I've worked in residential and outpatient settings and have experience working with criminal justice or diversion programs.
As an older, senior therapist I've experienced enough of life to work well with an older geriatric population. My years of working with addicts and their families has given me a fairly thorough understanding of family systems.

Samuel is clearly an expert. He listens well and provides feedback that specifically fits my life. I've found him very helpful.
Sam has so much wisdom and I really trust his feedback. He is a great listener and I feel safe talking to him.
So understanding and real. I appreciate his insight and the comfortability of our sessions
Samuel is very personable, he always is very helpful with every question that I ask him. Due to his experience in several counseling related fields, I feel very confident in his expertise and always supports me and listens to me very well.
He is extremely professional and respectful. I would definitely recommend
Samuel Beckman is great! He really gets me to open up about things, which is a problem I had with previous therapists. He's been through some things himself, which I think helps him to understand me more. He's great with self-disclosure, which helps us both with relating to each other.
Sam, is the perfect counselor for me. Number1, we share the same faith. He is also extremely kind and compassionate. Also, he is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the area’s that I need help.
